I was first introduced to the world of Ultima when a friend of mine disappeared for a few weeks. I eventually found him at a computer tapping away at the keyboard with such intent that I thought he was coding the world's greatest program. Instead he was playing one of the greatest programs I've ever played: Ultima. (Specifically, it was Ultima 6.) I then picked up my copy of Ultima 6 and went into my own hiatus into the realm of Britannia. I've been hooked ever since.
